A Short Account of the Right Rev. George Hay, D.D. Bishop of Daulis, and Vicar Apostolic of the Lowland District in Scotland by the Rev. Alexander Cameron, Published by Aparicio (Valladolid) 1829, 24 pages

George Hay was born into an Episcopalian family in Edinburgh in 1729 and died a Roman Catholic bishop at Aquhorties Seminary, Inverurie in 1811. This is a reprint of a brief summary of his life by his successor, Bishop Alexander Cameron. It records that in many ways Bishop Hay was responsible for the recovery of the Roman Catholic Church in Scotland after the Reformation.
